They met in October 2007, at a job interview. He was the interviewer and she, the applicant. His company, Traffic Support Inc. was looking for someone who has the experience and the right attitude to assume the role of team manager to handle the online advertising account. In other words, they were looking for someone who’s nerdy, intelligent, and “maldita”.
The HR manager, having previously worked with Sharon, thought that she was perfect for the job so they arranged a dinner interview with her at Krua Thai Restaurant.
After the interview, Eli was convinced that Sharon is indeed a nerd, intelligent, and a “maldita” lady. Sharon, on the other hand, got into a cab and thought, “Sh*t, that Eli boss is cute.”
